The Retyc beta opened its doors on 24 March 2026.
We want to build Retyc with our community, making sure every feature is polished and perfectly meets your needs. The beta allows us to gather your feedback, identify improvements to make, and ensure the platform is ready for a successful public launch. It is a crucial step to make sure Retyc lives up to your expectations.
Your files are encrypted locally on your device using post-quantum cryptography before any transmission. The decryption keys never leave your device unencrypted. Our zero-knowledge architecture means we are technically incapable of reading your files or their names: if compelled, we can only provide encrypted, unreadable data.
The beta is open to everyone: professionals, legal and tech teams, and any organisation looking for a serious alternative to mainstream clouds.
US cloud services fall under the CLOUD Act, which allows US authorities to compel access to data held by American companies: including on European servers. Retyc operates entirely within the EU, under European law, which significantly reduces exposure to these extraterritorial laws. When confidentiality matters, jurisdiction matters.
