## Notes

- Retyc's public beta ended on 2 June 2026.
- Files are encrypted client-side before upload. The server never has access to unencrypted data or metadata.
- All data are end-to-end encrypted, including file names, sizes, and user information. The server only stores encrypted blobs. Retyc cannot access or decrypt any user data, ensuring maximum privacy and security.
- Infrastructure: all services run on European cloud providers with data centers in France, ensuring compliance with EU data sovereignty requirements
- No GAFAM involvement, fully independent European company
- No external funding, self-funded by the founders
- [Opensource CLI client](https://github.com/retyc/cli) allows users to integrate Retyc into their workflows and automate file transfers and dataroom management. MCP server included.
