Yes. The Retyc plugin works in Outlook on the web (Microsoft 365, office.com) and in the Outlook desktop clients on Windows and macOS. One installation covers everything.
Yes. Data is hosted exclusively in France, with European providers. No data leaves the European Union. A signable Data Processing Agreement (DPA) is available on request.
The plugin imposes no technical limit per file. The total volume available depends on your Retyc subscription plan.
Your files are encrypted on your device before being sent to our servers. Only you and your recipient hold the keys needed to decrypt them. Retyc cannot therefore access their content.
Your passphrase protects your encryption keys, which we never store in plaintext. If it is lost, your old keys can no longer be recovered, and that is precisely what ensures no one else can access them either. A key rotation tool lets you renew your credentials whenever you need to.
