Retyc for the public sector
Secure transfer and datarooms for government bodies and local authorities. End-to-end encryption, hosting in France and ProConnect sign-in for your staff.
Use cases
Built for government bodies and local authorities
Retyc Box to receive documents from citizens, Retyc Collaborate for your procurement datarooms, Retyc Transfer for your large files: three products to secure sensitive public-sector documents, end-to-end encrypted and logged.
Exchanges with citizens
With Retyc Box, receive sensitive documents from citizens (civil records, social files, tax documents) without going through unencrypted email. They follow a drop link, and nothing else is asked of them.
Public procurement and tenders
With Retyc Collaborate, open a dataroom per procedure to share the tender file and collect bids. Access controlled per bidder and a timestamped audit log.
Exchanges between public bodies
Share documents between departments, ministries or local authorities with precise permissions, without depending on a non-European cloud.
Transferring large files
With Retyc Transfer, send plans, reports or heavy datasets under encryption, with an expiry date and download tracking.

ProConnect
Your staff sign in with ProConnect
ProConnect is the French state's single sign-on for public officials and professionals, born from the merger of AgentConnect, MonComptePro and InclusionConnect. Retyc supports it: your staff use the identity they already have.
No new account
Staff sign in with their administration's digital identity, without creating an account or remembering another password.
Verified identity
Authentication goes through the member of staff's own identity provider. You know who is accessing what, on the basis of a trusted professional identity.
Simpler rollout
Fewer accounts to manage, fewer password resets. Adoption is quick, since there is nothing new to remember.
In step with the state's ecosystem
ProConnect centralises access to public officials' digital tools. Retyc fits into that unified authentication approach.
Beyond transfer
Sovereign transfer, and everything missing after it
The state's transfer tools, such as FranceTransfert, do a real job of sending large files sovereignly on a one-off basis. Retyc answers the needs a transfer service alone does not cover: zero-knowledge confidentiality and collaboration over time.
Zero-knowledge end-to-end encryption
Encryption happens on the member of staff's own machine, before anything is sent. What reaches us is unusable, including to our own administrators and including under a legal order.
Datarooms that last
Where a transfer expires after a few weeks, a dataroom stays a lasting workspace: folders, versions and history kept and encrypted.
Collaboration and roles
Several people involved, internal or external, with precise roles (view, add, manage). Rights can be changed or withdrawn at any time.
An exportable audit log
Every access, download and change is recorded, timestamped and attributed. The log is end-to-end encrypted and exportable as CSV for your own checks.

Sovereignty
Sovereignty and compliance, by design
French and European infrastructure, built to meet the confidentiality requirements of public service without depending on non-European players.
Hosted in France
Data is stored in France, at Scaleway, an operator certified ISO 27001, and HDS for health data. No non-European party takes part, at any link in the processing chain.
Native GDPR compliance
The zero-knowledge architecture limits by design what data can be reached at all. A DPA is available for the contractual needs of public bodies.
Protection against extraterritorial law
Exposure to the CLOUD Act and to FISA is greatly reduced, and your data falls under European law.
Technological independence
No big-tech component in the processing chain. A sovereign platform, controlled from end to end.

Frequently asked questions
Retyc in the public sector, in a few answers.
FranceTransfert is a good tool for sending large files sovereignly now and then, but it remains a transfer service: no collaborative dataroom, and retention limited to a few months. Retyc adds zero-knowledge end-to-end encryption, lasting workspaces, granular roles and an exportable audit log. The two tools can perfectly well coexist depending on the need.
No. Thanks to ProConnect, your staff sign in with their administration's digital identity, with no new account and no extra password.
No, and that is not a contractual promise but a consequence of the architecture. The decryption key is produced on the member of staff's own machine and is never passed to us. A Retyc administrator opening the storage would see nothing but encrypted blocks.
No. Our host Scaleway is going through the qualification process; Retyc, as a service, is not. End-to-end encryption addresses part of the subject differently, since the host never holds a key. If your procurement requires the qualification, let's discuss it early rather than at award stage.
Yes. You open a drop address for them: they file their documents without creating anything, and the encryption happens on their own device.
